This application allows you to discover Alaska's Indigenous cultures through an interactive audio tour and videos. Walk through time and explore 6 village sites from around the entire state of Alaska… all from an iPhone or iPod Touch.
The App features:
- Videos - "Living from the Land and Sea"- A story about the Alaska Native's connection to nature and their homeland.
- Images- View historical photographs from our museum collection.
- Daily schedule (summer season only)- See presentation information, dance performance times and other useful information for your visit.
- Audio tours - Village Site tour with over 10 narrators describing their homes, culture, values and more. Hall of Cultures tour - a descriptive tour of inside exhibits at Center.
- Treasure Hunt - great for kids and even adults! Find items around the Center and learn as you go!
Ipod touch units with headphones are available for rent in the ticket office for $5.00 for your visit.
