Isiġvik (Fur Ruff, Iñupiaq) Workshop

The Alaska Native Heritage Center is excited to share another workshop in our Master Artist Class Series! Join us for the Isiġvik (Fur Ruff, Iñupiaq) Workshop, led by accomplished Iñupiaq fashion designer Bobby (Brower) Itta. This free, weeklong workshop is open to beginners and experienced creators alike. Participants will learn how to make their very own beautiful parka furr ruff. Bobby, the designer and owner of Arctic Luxe, will be sharing her pattern and methods to guide participants through the process.
The 5-day workshop will be held from Monday, June 5th to Friday, June 9th, from 6-8PM. All supplies will be provided. Register with your family and friends and enjoy this exciting opportunity to learn something new for *free*! We have reserved spots for individuals ages 16 to 24!
