Alaska Native youth practice Native sports events in the Alaska Native Heritage event space.

Event Space

Situated on the northeast edge of Anchorage on 26 acres of land with over 20,000 square feet of available space, the Alaska Native Heritage Center offers a unique cultural venue that is perfect to host an array of events year-round.

The Gathering Place has stunning floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase our breathtaking outdoor grounds providing the perfect backdrop for wedding ceremonies and receptions, galas, holiday parties, graduations, birthday parties, bridal and baby showers, and any other special event imaginable.

Our sprawling campus is large enough to accommodate conventions or multiday conferences. Host your next company training in our Mabel Pike classrooms or utilize one of our small conference rooms for a private business meeting.

When you decide to hold your event at ANHC you not only gain access to an incredible venue, but more importantly, you have the amazing opportunity to engage your attendees in the rich Cultural Heritage of Alaska’s First People. Consider incorporating an immersive 30-minute Alaska Native Dance Performance, engage with an Alaska Native Games Demonstration, or be enthralled with storytelling by an Elder and Culture Bearer. Immerse yourself even further with a private tour of our six-life size authentic village sites or take a break with a self-guided tour of our exhibits in the Hall of Cultures. All these experiences can be an incredible addition to enhance your event.

Facility rentals are available for only the Athabascan Ceremonial House and Mabel Pike classrooms. Contact our facility rentals team for inquiries at anhcrentals@alaskanative.net or (907) 330-8004.

*Summer programming Mid-May to Mid-September will affect hours of availability.
