This $25M Capital Campaign will support the expansion of ANHC’s campus in our commitment to the perpetuation of Alaska’s Native traditions, languages, and cultures. Our newly expanded campus will comprise of transformative gathering spaces and will serve as a vibrant hub for cultural activities, celebrations, and collaborative initiatives.
This year’s campaign is part of a multi-phased fundraising strategy at ANHC. Below is a breakdown of each phase, with phases one through three already primarily funded.

Phase One
Phase One entails updates to our main building and museum, with a budget of approximately $4 million, currently funded primarily through donations from the Economic Development Administration, Rasmuson Foundation, and other grants.
Phase Two
Phase Two involves an update to our theatre to create immersive and Indigenous experiences. With a budget of $600k, this phase is funded through a grant from Murdock Trust.
Phase Three
Phase Three comprises the construction of a $3.5 million community healing garden, expected to be fully funded by a generous grant.
Phase Four
Lastly, Phase Four encompasses a $25M campus expansion campaign, including the construction of a large community hall with a subsistence kitchen on the ANHC campus, a parking garage, restoration of Lake Tiulana, and additional administrative offices. To date, we have raised $3.5M for this phase.
