Beginning Hide Tanning Workshop
March 22 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until March 23, 2023
We’re excited to announce another workshop in our Master Artist Class Series: the Beginning Hide Tanning Workshop led by Ahtna Athabascan Master Artist Jessica Denny. This 2-day workshop will teach participants the Ahtna way of fleshing and scraping hides. And it’s FREE!
We are asking participants to bring their own hide. If you don’t have one, please contact Angie Demma, ANHC’s Curator of Collections and Exhibits at firstname.lastname@example.org, before registering for the workshop.
To register, you must agree to attend the full duration of the Workshop over both days. The workshop will be held on March 22nd and 23rd from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and you won’t want to miss a minute of it! We welcome those under the age of 21 to join us and have reserved a few tickets just for you. When registering, make sure to select the “Beginning Hide Tanning Workshop – 21 & Under” ticket type.
