When is ANHC Open?
The Ch’k’iqadi Gallery will be open Mondays through Fridays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. during the 2022-2023 Winter Season.
Our 2023 Summer Season opening day will be May 14, 2023. We will be open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
How much is admission to ANHC?
Summer admission rates:
Adults $29 (18-64)
Seniors $25 (65+)
Children $19 (Ages 4-17)
Alaska Resident Adult $14
Alaska Resident Child $12
Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?
It’s not necessary to purchase tickets in advance. Tickets will be available at the admissions office when you arrive to ANHC.
Do I have to wear a mask?
Masks are encouraged but not required for guests of the Alaska Native Heritage Center.
How do I get to ANHC?
We are located at 8800 Heritage Center Dr. in Anchorage, around a 7 minute drive from the Tikahtnu Commons. We offer a convenient shuttle service from Downtown Anchorage.
If driving: From the Glenn Highway, exit at North Muldoon Road. From Tudor Road, drive east on Tudor, which becomes Muldoon Road. Continue driving straight over the Glenn Highway and then take the first right. (You will see an Alaska Native Heritage Center Sign) Keep driving a bit further until you reach our parking lot, where we have ample parking including reserved Elder parking.
