Visitor Notice

Heads up! The Alaska Native Heritage Center (ANHC) will be closed to the public during normal business hours on Friday, April 10, 2026, and will reopen as usual on Monday, April 13, 2026. The Ch’k’iqadi Gallery will remain open during its regular hours, and all patrons are asked to enter through the Gallery’s outdoor entrance.

Please note that ANHC will be open to the public from 5:30–7:30PM on Friday, April 10, for a free community celebration marking the opening of new exhibitions in the Hall of Cultures. Due to a private event taking place at the Center, attendees should enter through the Mabel Pike Education Games Room, located on the administrative side of the building near the small parking lot. Balloons will mark the entrance.
