Coho Cup

At the Coho Cup café, you can get coffee for a cause! Fueled by Alaska’s People apprentices, the Coho Cup serves as a training ground for our future barista workforce.

Operating for more than a decade, the Coho Cup is a café-style coffee shop employing new CITC program participants and those poised to re-enter the work force in the community.

Participants develop a good work ethic and receive job-readiness training, including customer service skills, and how to operate an espresso machine and a cash register, among others.

By providing basic job-skills training, Coho Cup helps employees evolve into better paying jobs, while developing values associated with hard work and self-sufficiency.
