September 16, 2023: Last day of ANHC Summer Programming

On Saturday, September 16, 2023, the Alaska Native Heritage Center’s summer season comes to a close. Quyana, thank you to all who visited us this summer. Please note that both the Alaska Native Heritage Center and the Ch’k’iqadi Gallery will be closed to the public on Sunday, September 17, 2023.

Beginning on Monday, September 18th, the Alaska Native Heritage Center and the Ch’k’iqadi Gallery will transition to winter season hours. Throughout the winter season, the Alaska Native Heritage Center will be open from 9AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday. The Ch’k’iqadi Gallery will be open from 12PM to 5PM, Monday to Friday. To arrange private shopping appointments, contact the Ch’k’iqadi Gallery at 907-330-8009.

During the winter season, visitors are welcome to explore the Hall of Cultures and the Village Sites through self-guided tours at the Alaska Native Heritage Center. Private tours are also available, with a two-week in-advance scheduling requirement. Café Di’eshchin will be closed for the entirety of the Alaska Native Heritage Center’s winter season.
