ANHC Closing For November

With much consideration, we have decided to close our doors to the public until the end of November. The well-being of our community comes first, and the rapid spread of COVID-19 cases across Alaska presents an immediate threat to the health and vitality of Alaska Natives statewide.

We recognize that this is a difficult time for many, and we will continue to deliver cultural programming to uplift and celebrate Alaska Native cultures virtually.

We are encouraging all employees to work safely from home, effectively immediately. Our weekly sewing classes, Native games practice, and open dance practice space are postponed until we re-open. Though we are saddened that we will not have the opportunity to gather over the next few weeks, we believe that taking these necessary precautions now will create a stronger and safer future.

We look forward to welcoming you back at ANHC as soon as it is possible.

Quyana for your understanding.

Should you have any questions, please email ANHC Executive Director at eedenshaw@alaskanative.net.

ANHC is temporarily closed to the public from February 2024 – May 2024 for renovations to ANHC’s facility.
