Quyana for all who attended our Remembering the Children Boarding School Healing Event. It was an honor to hear boarding school survivor and National Native American Boarding School Healing Coalition Board Member Jim Labelle Sr. (Iñupiaq) as well as our other guest speakers.
We honor and lift up all those who were sent away, lost, and survived boarding school. Here at ANHC, we are dedicated to finding ways to help our community heal and we need our community’s help. The boarding school era is a dark part of history, but we have to learn it so it never happens again.
This is the first event of many to help our community heal together. Quyana, Chin’an, Haw’aa.
