The Alaska Native Heritage Center recently held its first board meeting of the new fiscal year. We are proud to celebrate the leadership of our extraordinary Board of Directors, who generously share their time and expertise in support of our mission-driven work.
Please join us in congratulating Tiffany Tutiakoff (Yup’ik & Dena’ina) on her re-appointment as Board Chair for the second consecutive year. Tiffany is an award-winning communications professional and the President and CEO of Future Elder, an Indigenous and female-owned full-service brand marketing, advertising, and public relations firm. We also congratulate Tabetha Toloff (Athabascan) on her appointment as Vice Chair. Tabetha is an experienced executive who serves as President of Cook Inlet Region, Inc. and has been a valued member of our board for many years, including previously serving as Board Chair. Both Tiffany and Tabetha have played pivotal roles in advancing ANHC’s work. We are grateful for their leadership and the many ways they continue to support the Alaska Native Heritage Center.
We also recognize Lauren Johnson (Alutiiq/Athabascan), who will continue serving as Secretary. Lauren serves as President and Executive Director of Chugach Heritage Foundation and President of the Chugach Museum. She brings strong leadership and community-centered expertise to the board. We also thank Jed Ballard (Iñupiaq), who remains Treasurer. Jed serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Northern Bank and offers valuable financial stewardship and strategic guidance to ANHC.
Together, this leadership team brings experience, vision, and dedication that help strengthen the Alaska Native Heritage Center for generations to come.
