April 23rd marked an important transition for the Alaska Native Heritage Center's Board of Directors. We extend our heartfelt thanks to departing board members and welcome our newly appointed officers. 

We want to sincerely thank Alex Cleghorn (Sugpiaq) and Haven Harris (Iñupiaq) for their dedicated service as board members. Their contributions will have a lasting impact on the Alaska Native Heritage Center. A special thank you also goes out to Tabetha Toloff (Athabascan) for her outstanding leadership as Chair of the Board. Tabetha’s guidance has been instrumental in helping ANHC thrive. While she is stepping down as Chair, we are grateful that she will continue to serve as an active board member.

We are excited to announce the newly appointed officers for the ANHC Board of Directors:
• Tiffany Tutiakoff (Yup’ik & Dena’ina), former Vice Chair, has been appointed as the new Board Chair.
• Maija Katak Lukin (Iñupiaq) steps into the role of Vice Chair.
• Lauren Johnson (Alutiiq/Athabascan) continues as Secretary.
• Jed Ballard (Iñupiaq) remains Treasurer.

Maude Blair (Iñupiaq - NANA Region) has been appointed an additional two-year term as a board member. We look forward to the continued growth and success of ANHC under their guidance.
