DETAILS

Join us on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 5:30–7:30PM for a free celebration marking the opening of new exhibitions in the Hall of Cultures at the Alaska Native Heritage Center. This special evening honors the dedication, collaboration, and partnerships that made it all possible.

Guests are invited to enjoy light refreshments and food while exploring the new exhibitions in our Hall of Cultures. Curators and experts will be onsite throughout the evening and available to answer questions.

The featured exhibitions honor the resilience, artistry, and living histories of Alaska’s First Peoples, including “Nats'itsatna (Our Ancestors, Dena'ina, a Dene Language)”, “Dena’ina Quht’ana (Local Dena’ina, a Dene Language)”, “Education in Alaska: Disruptions to Our Traditional Teachings”, and our updated Identity Galleries.

Please contact Angie Demma, ANHC Director of Collections & Exhibits, at [email protected] with any questions.
